This miniature clock was made for Cartier by \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cfont face=\"Arial\" size=\"5\"\u003eLouis Kuppenheim,  The case at least has the Kupenheim marks, a firm out of Germany from the second half of the 1800s into the early 1900s that made amazing pieces of silver and enamel.  The case encloses a Swiss 3\/4 plate miniature clock movement with a face branded for Cartier.  This would be the quality level of something Cartier would import and handle during that time.
