Unger Brothers Silver Indian Chief Head Cup - Late 1800s

Woodcliff on the Hudson

$ 1,250.00

One of the better quality silver makers in the late 19th and early 20th century was Unger Brothers in Newark, NJ.  Among their most popular patterns was and still remains the Indian Head motif as seen on this cup.  Dramatic Chief's head with full headdress on the front with a well decorated art nouveau style handle. The back is engraved with a highly stylized group of initials typical of the era. In excellent condition.
