A unique 1907 sterling silver cup used as a shooting trophy. The Hallamshire Shooting Club with it's many military members would hold competitions for the "Clough's Cup" which this is. On one side the insignia showing a tiger says "4th Hallamshire Battalion - The York & Lancaster Regt". On the other side it reads "CLOUGH CUP - won by Lieut. F.H. Wilkinson October 12, 1907". The cup itself measures eight inches across and almost 5 inches high. It was made by George Hape in Sheffield in 1907. A great military and shooting trophy and a terrific piece of sterling silver.
