64mm long enameled silver egg shaped pendant with rock crystal on both sides. This lovely jewel opens to show a silver enamel scene of Mary riding a mule lead by Joseph. Mary is wearing a veil across her face. These Austro-Hungarian works of art are from around 1900. This particular one is in great shape and comes on a 35 inch silver chain.
