A pair of original art illustrations from 1958 by James Williamson. This pair was illustrated for the P. G. Wodehouse story "The Fat of the Land" published in This Week Magazine in November 1958. The illustrations have silver/gray mat boards with archival backs. The main illustration overall size is 22 inches by 20 inches with the mat opening being 15 1/2 inches by 13 inches. The second illustration overall size is 17 inches by 14 inches with the opening being 12 1/2 inches by 9 inches. This is great illustration work with a mid-century modern vibe and illustrates a story by one of the most popular humorists of the 20th century.
